Covidphobia

Forced into a second wave of Isolation

To prevent Covid 19 extension

News sends ice down my arteries

Endless thirst for water to refill sweaty skin

Fingers vibrate in perturbation

Over analyse Government instruction

Recall previous periodof hunger

Moments of tears inside my locker

Push it beneath my awareness

Deny its existence

Believe I will cope once more

Our Village people are not Heartless.

Festive season is a period people from all works of life travel to states of origin. There are rumors of how relation residing in the village attempt to kill successful ones. This fear has led many to take a vow never to visit the village for years.

Our Village relation want the best out of life like every one else. The environment limits them. Research by Miles Storpler, a genetic researcher discovered that hereditary accounts for about 65 percent of a young person capacity, intellect and ability while the remaining 35 percent furnished by environment determine whether or the sixty percent gets a chance to unfold. One raised in a detrimental environment needs more work to overcome. Those raised in rural areas are disadvantaged.

Each moment we travel back home to show off our wealth, we remind them of their failure to achieve what we have achieved. The society no longer respect people based on their age. The materialistic society places richer persons on the social hierarchy. A young rich man is respected over an old man. First son’s keep quiet during family meeting. Money talks.

The village people are human being with emotion. A highly recognized elderly man would not lose his status to a younger guy he carried with his arms as a baby. He would either desire to acquire what the young lad has or he wishes the young man does not have it. The former is difficult because of environmental limitation. The latter is more likely.

Any quality, achievement or advancement that provoke admiration is likely to induce this feeling. This includes wealth, status, power, fame, success, academic achievement, etc This resentment towards someone with desirable features is called envy. At most, village persons can be best described as envious and not wicked. This attribute is not peculiar to village people. Envy is highly found among the lowest of any group. The unemployed youth who stands in front of a newspaper stand criticizing the government is only envious. Should he get a government appointment, his envy would reduce significantly.

Envy also exist in urban areas. The competitive nature of our job promote envy. Marketers who are able to make more sales are promoted and thus envied by colleague.

How we can minimize envy :

1) Conceal your success. Must you show off your affluence? You may drive your Jeep in the town and drive okada in the village. Trek with them. Fetch firewood with bragging fuels envy.

2) Treat them as equal or superior : Show them respect despite your superiority. Do not laugh at their poor attempt at English. Speak the native language you both understand. Tell them their native food is more nutritive than noodles. Exaggerate the wonders of rural life. Praise them well.

3) Sharing : Giving some part of the object of envy with others. The envious person becomes a beneficiary of the object of envy.

I forgive the region

I forgive the region whose people are like working robot

I forgive the region that would happily praise foreigners who invade her land to rule her.

I forgive the region that hands over her thinking ability to its foreign leaders

I forgive the region whose foreign leaders control them easily like a remote.

I forgive the elite who readily swallow the lies propagated by her leaders

I forgive the people who allow himself to be cajoled into submitting to the will of its Invaders in exchange for eternal reward

I forgive the region whose community leaders are threatened into silence by the powerful elite

I forgive the region whose Religion leaders refuse to speak against the atrocity of her political leaders

I forgive the region whose Religion leaders with the political oppressors against the mass

I forgive the region that knows no other language and culture besides its own and that of its oppressor

I forgive the region that allows it’s people to be used to give more power to its leaders

I forgive the region that surrenders its right and freedom to its oppressor in the name of religion

I forgive myself for being connected to this region

Game leaders play

Leaders love loyalist. They create one by disempowering its people. . They reward you for compliance and punnish you for deviance. They maintain dominance over our thoughts until they have conquered our minds. They make laws to own citizen and make them comply easily. They produce semirobots only fit for taking orders.

They create a false educational system that focus on patrotism,Civic education, history, memorisation, recitation and other useless lesson. Thanks to the internet, youth have learnt to educate themselves on other areas like philosophy, practical entrepreneurship psychology, to inprove skill and reasoning.Youth can see behind the illusion.

The youth seizes to be loyalist to the leader. The leader tried to pet it by hurriedly agreeing to her demand. The thinking youth seeing through the deceptive eyes of the leader refused to fall for the trick. The leader senses that if he permits the deviance much longer, the entire people could join in the revolt. The leader opted to insert drug to the youth.

If we attack the youth,we loose. If they attack themselves, we win.

By giving the group a terrible name, nothing the youth says may be taken lightly . The drug is called hoodlum. To get a drug , they look for To recruit hoodlums,  they seek broken, insecure, vain ,angry people and give them a token.

By inserting the drug on the youth, the world sees the youth as terrible persons. They understand that only a United squad can break the rulers. They try to divide the group. Hoodlums attack youth and destroy property. Youth get angry and retaliate. Government send security forces to maintain law and order. They begin by weeding out the agitating youth out of the Earth like a doctor cutting off the diseased arm so it does not infect the rest.

Before you cast a stone

For the first time in a while, Nigerians from all works of life lent their voice to the ill-treatment carried out by the Special Anti Robbery squad department (SARS) of the National Police Force(NPF). This shows that the people can put aside her differences and unite against a common foe. A true test of democracy is evident when those in power fear the anger of the people and not when the people are scared of those in power.

While it is easy to point accusing fingers, we should be free of committing the same crime we accuse them of. The members of the special anti robbery squad were not imported from a foreign country . They are one of us. They represent a subset of the total population . The action they commit is a reflection of what the average Nigerian is capable of doing in position of power . What differentiate the average Nigerian from SARS is that the later is permitted by law to use force and arms to enforce laws . Many a times, The wealthy ones use her financial strength to influence SARS to bully his adversity. Why are we quick to castigate them when they are tools in our hands .

In our homes,We are worse than SARS when we devalue women as male property and excercise control over their lives. We want to dress how we want while we tell the ladies what to wear. We are worse than SARS when we use her as punching bag. We are worse than SARS when we act like dictators in our home to be feared by the entire household. We are worse than SARS when we maltreat our househelp and prevent her from attending same school with our children . We are worse than SARS when we sexually harras her and threaten her into silence.

We are worse than SARS when we team up to born down the shrine of the elderly man worshipping the gods of his ancestors. We are Worse than SARS when we confine one to psychiatric ward or jail for choosing not to belong to any Religion. We criticize SARS for their brutality against those who wear tatoo while our religious police punnish us for the same act .

We are worse than SARS when we take advantage of our students poor academic performance to lure her to bed.We are worse than SARS when we destroy farmlands and farmers except states donate their land to us to practice our trade . We are worse than SARS when we use our political and financial strength to remove effective but non- submissive governors from seeking reelection . We are worse than SARS when we take official decision favoring one tribe or group at the expense of others.

The security agencies are not the only one guilty of intimidation. Any act of public humiliation, physical attack, disrespectful language, discriminatory comment, or name calling against our subordinate or minority promotes abuse of power. Subtle acts of manipulating the naive for personal gain also fuels oppression. The victim fear reporting the act could be worse than the original form of abuse. This enable perpetrator get away with the crime thereby empowering then to continue the maltreatment. Cowardice on the part of the victim feed tyranny.

Any society that prevents one from critical thinking and promotes submission to a higher power creates an avenue for abuse. This is why many cases of abuse go unreported among security agencies and religion institution .Obey what the boss says whether you agree with him or not and get a chance of getting promoted.security agents are also victims of abuse by their superior. The anger is suppressed until they find a subordinate they can vent the anger on without any side effect . The junior staff are cruel to their own subordinate until the most junior ranked officer who have no one to be cruel to pass their aggression to civilian . This is why top ranked security agents are less harsh than low ranking ones .

The #endsars protest is a call to all victim of all kinds of abuse to unite together and take a stand. When the abusers realises that the victims would rather die than persist in such ill-treatment, they would be forced to reconsider their ways. No condition is permanent Centuries of abuse of patriarchy has led to the number of self identified feminist and single motherhood-. Parents who bring up their children in love would be cared for when they get old and weak. Garbage in Garbage out. What we sow is what we reap.

We need to focus towards an egilateral society.- a society that is based on equality. Moral reasoning should be introduced as a subject in secondary schools. Children ought to be taught character development with emphasis on equal respect for all devoid of gender, religion, power, wealth or Fame.

A Christian dad and son conversation on homosexuality

Son: what does the Bible teach about homosexuality and masturbation.

Dad: I do not know and I do not care to know

Son: But you are a Christian

Dad: yes, A Christian who follows the teaching of Jesus. Christ alone and not the Bible.

Son; But Bible contains Jesus teaching

Dad: true. It also contains the teaching of Paul, the teaching of Moses , the teaching of Elijah and many other teaching. As a Christian, I accept the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Son: Ok, Now what did Jesus teach about masturbation and homosexuality.

Dad: Jesus never mentioned any of them literally but he showed us with illaustration how to treat those whose views are different from ours.

Child: How?

Dad: He never condemned the adultrous woman, he visited tax collectors, he dined with sinners. He showered them with love.

Son : does that mean they won’t go to hell?

Dad: would you derive Joy in Watching your loved one in hell?

Son: No I won’t

Dad: good.

Dad: sex is a way of expressing Love. There are different stages of love. The first is love directed to oneself. A child grows up loving himself.Using sexual analogy, the child derives Joy playing with his body, his genital. Jesus said Love thyself.

Son : hmm

Dad: The second is Love of similar specie. The child begins to extend the love to those of closest to him+ family, friend, tribe etc. A boy plays with a boy.A girl plays with a girl. Using sexual analogy, this is homosexual. Christ preached Love your neighbor.

Son : I see

Dad: The third stage of love is where one loves those different from oneself .Jesus said Love your enemy.your enemy is your opponent, opposite, one with a different view. Sexually, one is attracted to the gender different from him.A boy is attracted to a girl and vice-versa.

Son :

Dad: One who hates masturbators and homosexuals and love heterosexual is no different from one who loves others over himself and his peers.Such person is in a third stage of love.

Son : which is the best.

Dad: All of the above. The fourth type. The pansexual. The attraction to all . Self, male, and female. It is universal love. Agape love. Love without condition.

The major idolatory most christian practice

Idolatry is a horrible, dangerous thing.
Sadly, far too many Christians are so very guilty of it.
You can see it in the way they complain on social media, in the way they comment on the news of the day; in the defeatist, alarmist language that they use as to describe the world.
You see it in the way they furrow their brows, and throw-up their hands, and slam their pulpits.

Though they loudly, repeatedly, and confidently proclaim Christ as Lord, in reality they no longer practice faith in a God that has any real power

The truth is, Fear has become their false God, one they worship with complete and undying devotion.
The symptoms of Fear Idolatry are pretty easy to spot.

When you’re not sure that God is there or that He’ll really come through, you start to spend most of your time defending Him in absentia. You become a self-appointedCrusader of Truth, whose mission is to do the holy work of policing the world, (just in case God can’t or won’t).
You spend a lot of time calling out evil, forecasting disaster, and predicting damnation.
When Fear is your God, you start majoring isExteriorSin Management. You slowly yet ultimately turn your all of attention to the things inother peoplethat you’re certain really tick God off, and you make it your sacred business to modify their behavior in the name of Jesus

I’m praying for so many of my brothers and sisters in Christ, to stop worshipping the false idol of Fear.
I’m praying that they recapture a God Who is worthy; not just of defending and quoting, but trusting.
I’m praying for the rest, joy, and humility that comes from putting faith in something greater than themselves and in the things they fear.
Every day, even with the mystery that grows on my journey, my security grows too.
I know how big my God is.
Do you?

“you look sexy”” is an insult

YOU LOOK SEXY” IS AN INSULT
Ladies,do you always feel happy when people see
the way you dress and say you look sexy?
“You look sexy” is not a greeting, it is not a
compliment, it is an insult.
They are telling you, you are good for sex only,
they are telling you you have something good
under your skirt, but nothing tangible under your
Cap.
They are saying you are a bed professional,
bedroom expert and nothing more.
They are saying your greatest asset is under your
pant, what an insult, never allow anybody to tell
you, you look sexy again, because that simply
means they are saying you are boys toy and guys
pleasure tool, sex symbol and not a great
personalty, not somebody to be respected.
They are simply saying you are closer to been a
prostitute than to been a Virtuous, quality and
exceptional woman. So always dress to look pretty
and beautiful, don’t dress to look sexy.
Queens and FIRST LADIES don’t dress to look
Sexy, they always dress to look beautiful, adorable
and pretty.
But BED LADIES will dress otherwise because like
whores their value and biggest asset is in bed.
Always remember that good product are always
well covered, branded and well packed, but
worthless product are always exposed for all dick
and harry to see, make yourself valuable, cover up
girl, let your daughter be proud of you in future,
stop been object of Lust and passion.
So when you are dressing tomorrow morning ask
yourself, am I dressing like a FIRST LADY or like
BED LADY, let your dressing answer for you

INEC should introduce ” None of The Above Option”

The two major parties in the country recently held their primaries and brought out their candidates.

I along with many nigerians lack confidence in the candidates.
In the last election, my choice candidate Ibrahim Babaginda was knocked out by his party in the name of “nothern candidate”.
I sat home on the electiion day.
Will there be a reoccurance. ? Are we mandated to choose one of wrong candidates presented or fold our hands and sit at home.

I think “none of the above” option should be introduced to shift power from the party delegates to the masses.
If 50percent votes “NOTA,”, there would be a re election and delegates would be presurised in voting the people choice during primaries and not the candidates who danced to their tune.

Shouldnt we express our disaatisfaction on the ballot paer.

why notherners are not stupid

Sadly,80% of Southerners who see this article will not read it!
Note:This article was not developed to ascribe to the entire Northern Nigeria the selfish antics and machination of a few individuals who belong to the region. It would be unfair to do that. Also, this article was developed not with the intention of causing incitement…

1. An average Northerner acquires a cheap transistor radio-set in order to gain political awareness
from broadcasting structures such as BBC (Hausa Service),Radio Nigeria, etc. This practice has made the region the most politically-aware region in Nigeria. On the hand, an average Southerner, typically, acquires expensive Smartphones equipped with FM radio receiving capability.Instead, they would rather listen to inane songs like “Your Waist”, “Skelewu”,“Ginger Your Swagger”, “NoGede”, etc.

2. Unlike the South, the North understands the importance of numbers in politics. This is why, by all strategic means necessary, the North ensures that they have alarger representation at the National Assembly.

3. Northerners don’t shout, scream, vent and speak “big grammar” to prove that they are politically intelligent on political programmes on TV and radio. Instead, they shout, scream, vent, kick, punch, taekwondo, etc on the floor of the National Assembly to promote a cause that is in their favour. The reverse is the case for the Southerners.

4. Southern graduates/job seekers consider the public sector (government institutions) an unfashionable place for employment.Meanwhile, the Northerners massively recruit and entrench themselves into the public sector and manipulate themselves up the ranks. While all these are going on, their southern brothers and sisters spend years languishing in the labour market for the elusive jobs in blue chip organizations. Yet, Southerners complain of marginalizationin the public sector

5. For some weird reasons, the South is always frightened when the North make political pronouncements.Even weirder – for some inexplicable reasons, Senators and House of Representative members from the South appear to be too timid to oppose their northern counterparts during legislative sessions.

6. According to the gospel of the North – the Northerners were born to rule. That is, leadership (of Nigeria) is their exclusive preserve. By extension, the Southerners were born to be led! Interestingly, certain actions of some Southerners support this belief.

7. The North has more (unrated) billionaires(inDollars) than any region in Nigeria. For instance, a certain Alhaji Mai Deribe (an oil well licensee)would certainly laugh each time Forbes releases its ratings and his name is not listed.

8. The North doesn’t produce crude oil, but the Northern Senators had the temerity to oppose the 10% host community funds. The Southern legislators find nothing wrong in that, so long as it doesn’t affect their “constituency allowances”.

9. {Singing}Come and see Nigeria wonder! (2x)
Statistical absurdity of the grandest order is stating that Kano is more populous than Lagos! Dear friends, even science have proved from simple demographic distribution patterns across the globe that population increases as we move from the hinterland (desert/Savannah region) to the coast– but in the case of Nigeria, the North which lies in the arid zone, is more populous than the South – by a deviously doctored census report. Okay o! We dey look.

10. The North have ruled the country legally(democratically) and illegally (military) for 37 out of the 53 years. The South is very comfortable with this inequality.

11. The North is the chief proponent of the“quota system” and “federal character” principle – a system that was crafted to sacrifice merit on the altar of “national oneness”. In simple terms, even themost unqualified gets a slot in sensitive national projects.

12. Northern law-makers at the National Assembly- typically – rally amongst themselves to promote legislations that favours their region (e.g. pedophilic laws). Southern law-makers typically rally amongst themselves to promote legislations that will increase their salaries and constituency allowances

Signs You Are Bad At Your Job and Will Be Fired Soon

here is more than one way to find out whether or not you are in the right field, or working the right position. If you hate going in to work each day, and dread the weekend’s end, it is one sign; but, there are other signs you are bad at your job, which may be an indication that it is time for you to start looking for a new job, or consider an entirely new career path for you to follow.

Infrequent restructuring and layoffs were the only things an employee could worry about in the past, but a lot has changed nowadays considering the tough economic times. For instance, companies are going through bankruptcies, non-stop downsizing and even the illusion of job security will soon be a thing of the past. These factors have seen the job layoffs and unemployment numbers rise to double digits.

It is quite evident that no one would like to be caught unaware, especially when it comes to losing a job. Nonetheless, how can you know if you will be fired soon? Here are 7 warning signs to look out for.

. You always get left out –

If you are a loner at your job, and find that you can’t fit in with anyone who works in the office, it might not be the right place for you to work. It is one thing if you clash personalities with a few co-workers; but, it is an entirely different thing if you can’t get along with one person, managers, or any employee in the same office.

Whether it is the position, or the employer, it is time for you to start looking elsewhere, because you might not be suited for what you are currently doing.

You never get assignments –

If you work with a larger team, or are working on new projects at your job, but you are never chosen as a team leader, or even part of a team, it may be a sign your co-workers are hinting that you are not great at your job.

If you always end up being chosen last, or do not get big work assignments, your co-workers and managers might be pointing at the sign that you are not the top choice, and are not the best qualified to do certain tasks.

You don’t get raises –
When all other employees get a 1% annual pay increase, or higher, yet you have had the same salary for a few years, it may be a sign that you are just getting by. If you do not excel, your managers are not going to give you a raise; and, if you are constantly the only person that doesn’t get a raise, it may be one of the signs you are bad at your job. A raise is your employ’er way of thanking you for your hard work, and great service; if you never receive a raise, it may be their way of letting you know that you are not doing work to a satisfactory level within the organization.

4. You never receive promotions –
If you have tried or promotions in the past, if you have applied for different positions within the organization, and if you are always passed up for a higher position within the organization, it may be a sign that you do not have what it takes to work in that position. Especially if you have worked for your employer for several years, and have seen others, who have been there for a shorter period of time, getting promotions, then you might want to reassess the work you do. Although you have not gotten fired yet, if you can’t move, or can’t seem to get past doing the same menial tasks, day in and day out, it may be a sign that your employer is giving you, that you are in the wrong position, or that you are never going to make it past the current position that you hold.

No work pressure

In the corporate scene, it is quite common for everyone to complain of the work pressure that comes with being allocated a lot of responsibilities and projects. However, if you are that kind of a person who floats free because you have less work than your colleagues, then there is always a high chance that this could be one of the most obvious signs you will be fired soon.

Basically, this is a clear sign that your skills are no longer valuable to your superiors who see no future prospects for you in the company. Ideally, no work pressure essentially implies no work soon.

You’re no longer in the loop

If you feel you no longer know what’s happening in the company or your office, then your clock has just started ticking. You can rest assured that you are no longer in the loop if memos are sent out or important decisions that you previously would have been consulted on are made without your knowledge.

For instance, if you use to be consulted during important recruitment decisions, and you walk into your office just to realize that someone new has been hired, get ready to hit the job hunting road very soon.

You don’t get along with your boss
When things get really bad, people tend to run in the other direction, and an impending job termination is actually no different. This is actually one of the most common signs that indicate you will be fired soon. You can tell if your job is in imminent jeopardy if your boss seems standoffish or rather unfriendly because he/she isn’t sure of the best way to break the news to you. But take heart, some bosses can even fire you without a second thought if the distance between you and them gets wider.

The current prevailing economic times have become very tough to the point that mergers or even take overs are becoming more rampant. Mergers and acquisitions can imply that the deck will be shuffled by the new bosses, and hence you must ensure that you hold your cards firmly even if you are told that your job is safe.

ou made a colossal mistake
It is pretty obvious that everyone makes mistakes, but you our job could be in real danger if you made a noticeable one, even if you are not to blame for it entirely. Basically, there are some mistakes an employer cannot ignore, such as stealing or sharing company’s confidential information. You will definitely get fired if you make a colossal mistake that can cost the company its reputation, but you can take responsibility by dismissing it as a minor slip.

Gambia to stop using English as foreign language;should nigeria follow?

English will be dropped as the official language of Gambia,

“We’re going to speak our own language,” Gambian president said, without specifying which of the poor West African country’s indigenous tongues would replace English.

.
A video of his latest broadside against Britain, delivered in English during the swearing-in of a new chief justice on Thursday, was uploaded on YouTube.
The country has several languages to choose from as a replacement for English.
About 40 per cent of Gambians speak Mandinka, while Fula or Wolof are used by another 34 per cent. Jammeh himself is from the minority Jula tribe, which speaks a Manding language most closely related to Bambara, spoken in nearby Mali.
Gambia, a country of about 1.8 million, is a finger of territory flanking the Gambia River, with Senegal on either side and a narrow Atlantic coastline

Gambia stunned the Commonwealth, which mainly groups former British colonies, by withdrawing from the 54-nation bloc in October, branding it “an extension of colonialism”.
