Interesting read! I’m an American atheist that married an Igbo man in Nigeria followed by his immigration to the States. I was stunned by the religiosity of the country at large. Few conversations did not include god in some way. Among many other things, our dramatic difference in religious views was a part of what lead to our divorce.

A very bold move by you to get married to one who breathe religion. Not surprised it did not last.His loss. I have made up my mind to remain single If I do not find a liberal, open minded person. Wish Nigerians could be tolerant. The Muslim- Christian clash is frequent. Atheist are not spared. Thanks for the comments
